Kevin Dural

Kevin Onur Dural, MBA is an American business executive and political figure. He is a partner at Blue Group International, where he works on infrastructure and industrial projects, including rail and recycling initiatives, structured through consortiums and public-private partnerships. He has been accepted to attend South Texas College of Law Houston.


Early life and education

Dural was born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in The Woodlands, Texas. He is the son of Turkish immigrants and spent part of his early childhood in inner-city Chicago before his family relocated to Texas. Both of his parents later became physicians.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University. He has been accepted to South Texas College of Law Houston, where he intends to pursue legal studies.


Career


Policy, media, and public engagement

Dural has worked in public engagement, political strategy, and policy-related communications, including work associated with the Texas Public Policy Foundation. His activities have included stakeholder relations, media strategy, and community outreach. He has also participated in interfaith and community engagement initiatives.

In media and journalism, Dural served as a newswriter for The Daily Texan and as managing editor of Cavs Nation, where he was involved in editorial management and audience development.


Business activities

At Blue Group International, Dural works with partners on the development, structuring, and advancement of infrastructure and industrial projects, including transportation and recycling facilities, often in coordination with public-sector stakeholders.


Political activities

In 2024, Dural sought public office in Texas. His campaign focused on issues related to governance, economic development, and public policy, and was positioned around increasing take-home pay for Americans.
